Douglas R. Leatham, CPA
Doug began his accounting career in California, working in both private industry and also with a San Francisco
CPA firm. After passing the CPA exam and becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California, he
moved across the country with his young family to Massachusetts where he worked with a New Bedford CPA firm.
In 1980, he opened his own public accounting practice, offering tax and accounting services to individuals,
small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Doug is a member of both the American Institute of CPA's
and the Massachusetts Society of CPA's.
Doug's Education includes the following degrees:
- BA degree in History, University of California, Davis
- BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting Major, San Jose State University
- MBA degree, San Francisco State University
- Masters in Taxation, Bentley College
Janet L. Pittman, CPA
Janet joined the firm in 2006, after running her own accounting practice in Milton, where she offered tax,
accounting and audit services to small businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. She also worked
with several Boston CPA firms. In 2006 she moved to the Southcoast where she enjoys the beautiful climate and
being close to the ocean. Janet is a member of both the American Institute of CPA's and the
Massachusetts Society of CPA's.

- Post-graduate Certificate in Accountancy, Bentley College
Agata Caron
Agata joined the firm in 2006. She moved here from Poland after meeting her current husband who was teaching
there as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She is currently finishing a Post-graduate Certificate in Accountancy at the
University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Mrs. Caron resides in New Bedford with her husband and their
daughter and son.
